Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 cup flour For Gluten free cookies, use a gluten free combination of flours or mix. I like Bob's Red Mill 1 for 1 mix.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter/margarine Earth Balance or Smart Balance are good dairy free options
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 TBS cornstarch Combined with water below, this is an effective substitute for 2 eggs
  • 4 TBS water
  • 1 12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips Enjoy Life is a great allergy free brand

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together in a large bowl.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mix margarine, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and your egg substitutes.
  4. Stir in the flour mixture and mix well. Finally mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake 8-10 minutes on greased baking sheets.
